Dixie Carter appeared on TNA Today and confirmed that the self-proclaimed "Greatest Man That Ever Lived" and new TNA Heavyweight Champ Austin Aries has been signed to a new long-term deal. This is great news for TNA as Aries could be the mainstream face of the company that TNA has long sought after. This also means that we won't be seeing a situation where Austin Aries walks out of the company with the TNA Heavyweight Title the way CM Punk did in WWE a year ago.
